Leone Frollo

Born in 1931, a native of Venice, Italian artist Leone Frollo made his debut in 1948 with Sui Grandi Laghi, a series published in Risveglio.

From 1958 to 1963 he worked via the D'Ami studio where he drew numerous war stories and several romance stories for Fleetway.

From the late 1960s to the mid 1980s, he illustrated numerous popular series in several genres, including history, fantasy, horror, but mostly eroticism. He has worked on such strips as Terror, Lucifera (horror), Lord Shark (historical), Durik, Melody John, Fan (science fiction) and Naga. From 1987 he changed his graphical style and drew Malicieusement Femmes, Mona Street and the Diva series. In 1997, the French magazine Glamour published Frollo's adult version of Snow White (Biancavene).
